Ranger Coffee… Much More Than A Coffee Company

Posted on December 15, 2012 Posted in Lifestyle Articles/Reviews, Weapons 1 Comment

Ranger Coffee

I’m no Starbucks weenie who can spout out fancy terms like how smooth and yada yada a cup of coffee is, so I will leave that up to the professionals. I just wanted to put Ranger Coffee on your radar because for one, they make some really good coffee and two, they do a whole lot to support veteran causes.

“What started as a passion for coffee and a love for the military evolved into a premium coffee company in 2006.  Ranger Coffee is known for top-notch products and great service, but we’re much more than a coffee company.  Our vision is to make a significant impact in the lives of veterans, and we make that impact by investing no less than half of our distributed profits in the causes that support and promote veterans.  Strong veterans make a strong America, but they need our support.” Ranger Coffee

The Coffee: Ranger Coffee is made from 100% Arabica Coffee that is imported from throughout the world.  Each bag of coffee is hand roasted and meticulously packed (Click here for more info).  Ranger Coffee produces at least eleven blends which can be bought in 12oz or 5lbs quantities.  I’m not sure if there is a difference between some of the blends as they have the same descriptions.   Click here for the Ranger Coffee product page or click the link alongside each individual blend.

The Company: Ranger Coffee makes it very clear that veterans and causes that support veterans are a top priority.  In fact, Ranger Coffee claims that in January of 2012, they restructured their business model to allow them to donate no less than 50% of their distributed profits to causes that support and promote veterans.  Here at BlackSheepWarrior.com we applaud Ranger Coffee for taking such a bold step to promote causes that support the people that risked their lives to provide the peace we enjoy!  You can read more about Ranger Coffee on their “About Us” page. Check out Ranger Coffee’s Blog here. Don’t forget to visit them on Facebook and Twitter as well!

The Gun: The rifle featured in this article is an Arizona Armory AR-15.  The rifle was custom built by Jeff Covino and was DuraCoated in OD green.  The most prominent features on the rifle are the checkered magazine well, H&K style fire selector indicators and the nylon tipped screw in the lower receiver (Removes all play between the upper and lower receiver).  The optic is a Trijicon Reflex II with an amber triangle. Its pretty basic.
