I came across the Condor Quick Release Plate Carrier about a year or so ago. At the time I was looking for a vest that was capable of holding both soft armor and SAPI plates and most of all it had to be cheap because I was on a budget!

The TLR-1 proved invaluable during field use and provided much needed visibility when working alone at night. The lights’ C-4 LED produces a truly blinding tight beam of light with a substantial amount of peripheral illumination. It’s really difficult to describe just how bright this light is especially now that you can pick up an updated version that is even more powerful, but lets suffice to say that it is very bright (don’t accidentally point it at air support).

I first handled the Trijicon TA-44SG-10 back in 2009 while perusing a local cop shop. I remember how impressed I was with the optic’s small size, clarity and crisp green donut reticle. The TA-44SG-10 produces the reticle using fiber-optics during the day and tritium at night.
