Glock 27

GLOCK 27 Photo Review

The GLOCK 27 subcompact .40 is by far one of my favorite pistols.  It handles like a champ and aside from some jamming from worn out mags it never has given me any problems.  The GLOCK 27 is a great little back up gun capable of sending accurate fire downrange in a pinch!

Glock has since updated it’s lineup with the Glock 42, (read our written review here) and Glock 43. Both the Glock 42 and 43 are single stack 9mm and .380 respectively and there was some drama when the 43 was released as many consumers had already purchased the Glock 42 .380 earlier. Some thought that it was a ploy on Glock’s part to sell more guns……imagine that.

This particular Glock 27 was my first CCW pistol and is rather special to me, I don’t think I will ever part with it! On another note, if you are a Glock owner and need a quality holster be sure to check out our sister site, Megiddo Tactical Group. We make premium grad Kydex and duty gear.

  1. I have a 26 (9mm version) that I LOVE! I’d love to have the .40 version to match my Springfield XD 40, but got a sweet deal on the Glock that I couldn’t pass up. As a tall skinny guy, the larger frame weapons print on me under a t-shirt, but the subcompact Glock fits nicely at the beltline. I call it my “summer gun” and its nice to have the top-notch performance of a Glock in a small package. The short grip felt strange in my hand at first, but the first round downrange erased any akwardness. Great review guys! -Blacksheep 33B

  2. Bought my Glock 27 a couple months ago and love it. The size makes an easy concealed carry with great fire power. For those that don’t like the short pistol grip they make an extension or fill free to use a Glock 23 or 22 magazine. If you have a lady at home it’s easily switched to a 9mm with a change of the barrel and magazine. Not enough fire power? Turn it into a .357 with a change of the barrel as well. It’s an all around great pistol.
